Information We Collect
We collect information in a few ways:
- Information you give us directly. If you sign up for our free guide or newsletter, we collect your name and email address through our opt-in forms.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site: pages viewed, time on site, general location (city/region level), device and browser type, and how you arrived here (search, social, direct, etc.). This data is aggregated and not tied to your name or email unless you’ve also opted in separately.
- Cookies. Cookies are used for site functionality (remembering your preferences) and analytics (Google Analytics). If you click an affiliate link on this site, the merchant or affiliate network (not us) sets a tracking cookie so they can credit us if you make a purchase. We don’t see your payment information through this process.

Email Communications
If you sign up for our free guide or newsletter, we’ll send you the content you signed up for and occasional related emails. We do not sell or rent your email address to third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
Third-Party Services We Use
We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policy governing the data they process:
- Google Analytics for site traffic and usage data (Google’s privacy policy)
- Affiliate networks (including Amazon Associates and others disclosed in our Affiliate Policy) for purchase tracking after you click an affiliate link
- Our email service provider for sending the newsletter and free guide to subscribers
Comments
If you leave a comment on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form (name, email, comment text) along with your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email may be checked against the Gravatar service to display a profile picture; see Gravatar’s privacy policy. After a comment is approved, your name and profile picture are visible publicly alongside it.
How Long We Keep Your Data
Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so we can recognize follow-up comments automatically. Email addresses collected through opt-in forms are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Your Rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time by emailing steven@motivationweightloss.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe. This doesn’t include data we’re required to retain for legal or administrative reasons.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We can’t guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
