I write Motivation Weight Loss, a site for women over 40 who want fat loss that lasts. I write every article myself.
Why I write about this
I spent years doing what most women do: counting calories, exercising, and even a four-month stretch of keto. The weight never stayed off. I was 47 and about 68 pounds overweight when I started GLP-1 injections in May 2024. In 14 months I lost 31 lbs. That is my own experience, not a promise. Results vary a lot from person to person.
I started this site because I wanted the resource I could not find at the time: an honest account of what GLP-1 treatment is like, what to eat and how to move while you’re on it, and what helps you stay consistent when motivation runs out.
What I am and what I am not
I am a patient who writes. I am not a doctor, nurse or dietitian, and I do not give medical advice. For anything about your own medication, dose or health, ask the clinician who prescribes your care.
How I write
I read the drug labels and the clinical trials, link to them, and keep my own story separate from what the research shows. The full process is on the editorial policy page. How the site earns money is on the affiliate disclosure page.
