GobyMeds is a real, operating telehealth company, and most of what it says about how it works checks out against its own terms and safety pages. What takes more reading is who actually prescribes, which pharmacy fills the order and what its refund policy really says. This review is based on the company’s own pages as they read on October 5, 2026, so you can decide with the details in front of you.

Is GobyMeds Legit?
It appears to be a legitimate business, with caveats. The company is Goby Health LLC, doing business as GobyMeds, based in Dover, Delaware, and its terms say it is a technology and administrative platform, not a medical group. Clinical care comes from independent medical groups in its provider network, and its safety page names Beluga Health as its medical practitioner partner.
GobyMeds says on its own page that it is LegitScript certified. I could not verify that independently, so treat it as a claim. The FDA has not, as far as I could find, named GobyMeds in a warning letter, but I cannot call that a complete check.
Who Is Goby Health, the Company Behind GobyMeds?
Goby Health LLC, which does business as GobyMeds, describes itself in its terms as a technology and administrative platform, so the medical care comes from separate medical groups. That matters when something goes wrong, because the company that takes your order is not the one that writes the prescription, and a telehealth platform review like this one cannot replace asking the prescriber directly. Choosing GobyMeds, or any telehealth platform, starts with knowing who is accountable for each step.
How Does GobyMeds Work?
You complete an online questionnaire, which the site describes as taking about a minute. A provider from its network reviews it and decides whether a prescription is appropriate, and the order then goes to a pharmacy that ships to you. Its site says consultation and shipping are free, and that it generally does not accept health insurance, though it takes HSA and FSA cards.
GobyMeds’ sign-up pages do not list a BMI cutoff for its own service, though its learning-center articles describe the usual criteria of BMI 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with a weight-related condition. The Wegovy label covers adults with obesity, or with overweight plus a weight-related condition, and the trial that led to approval used a BMI of 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with a condition. Whatever the provider decides, tell them about every medicine you take, and about any personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN 2.
Which Pharmacy Does GobyMeds Use?
The homepage says only that it uses a licensed 503A or 503B pharmacy partner in your state. The safety page is more specific and names four: Precision Medicine, HealthWarehouse.com, The Pharmacy Hub and Seven Cells Pharmacy. I did not check each one against a state pharmacy board, and checking before you pay is a smart step.
How Much Does GobyMeds Cost?
As listed on its pricing page in October 2026, a three-month starter of compounded semaglutide is $299, which the site presents as $99 a month, with higher-dose bundles from $299 to $499 and single months from $169. Compounded tirzepatide starts at $399 for three months. NAD+ is listed at $199 or more for one month or $349 or more for three months, which is about $116 a month on the three-month plan.
GobyMeds also lists brand-name Wegovy at $1,695 a month and Zepbound at $1,399. That is far above the maker’s own self-pay offers, which in October 2026 started at $199 a month for the first two fills of the starter doses for new Wegovy patients and $349 after that, so I would compare before choosing brand-name through any telehealth company. Which Meds Does GobyMeds Offer, Including Ozempic?
The site lists compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide alongside brand-name Wegovy, Zepbound, Mounjaro and Ozempic, plus NAD+, sermorelin, hair loss and testosterone treatments. Those meds are not interchangeable: the GobyMeds tirzepatide products and the semaglutide products are different drugs, so ask the prescriber why one is recommended for you instead of choosing by price. A written treatment plan for weight loss medications should name the medication, the dose, the pharmacy and what happens at each step.
Is GobyMeds Compounded Semaglutide FDA Approved?
No. GobyMeds says on its own pages that compounded medication is not FDA approved and has not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. The FDA says the same thing about compounded GLP-1 drugs in general, and it has warned telehealth companies over marketing unapproved GLP-1 drugs.

What Is the GobyMeds Refund Policy?
It is less clear than I would like, because the site says two different things. The terms of service say you get a full refund if you cancel before clinical review or if the provider decides treatment is inappropriate, a $50 consultation fee (or the amount shown at checkout) may apply if you cancel after review or prescription, and shipped medication is not refundable. The homepage FAQ says all prescriptions are final sale and non-refundable.
Read the terms before you pay, and screenshot them. If the two disagree later, you want your own copy.
What Do GobyMeds Customers Say?
On Trustpilot, GobyMeds showed 4.5 out of 5 from 1,150 reviews when I checked on October 5, 2026, with 83% giving five stars and 6% giving one star. The complaints that came up repeatedly were about warm packages and incomplete shipments. A rating tells you about service, not about whether the medication is right for you.
What Should You Ask Customer Support Before You Pay?
Before paying, send customer support three written questions and keep the replies: which medication and dose are in the order, which pharmacy fills it, and what the refund policy says about your case, given that the terms and the homepage FAQ disagree. Read provider reviews and user reviews with the same care, and weigh repeated complaints more than any single star rating. Ask how to report side effects once you start, and keep a record of your payment and confirmation emails. A comparison of current pricing across providers is worth ten minutes before you commit.
